UPCOMING EVENTS

“Home is Here.”

On July 17th, the Urbano Project will be unveiling a mural created by the students of its summer drawing and painting program, “Home is Here.” A six-week-long creative placemaking study that was instructed by Artist-in-Residence, Yixuan Zeng, and rooted in using drawing and painting as both a lens and means to seeing home, understanding home, and making home. The mural will be located in Fields Corner in Dorchester.

We’ll be holding not only an unveil of our students' mural, but an artist talk and exhibition of the mural's early sketches, a time-lapse presentation, and reception with our students and programming team.
