Raise Your Hand If You're Not Here

Obehi Janice
Shaw Pong Liu

Students worked with theater artist Obehi Janice and musician and composer Shaw Pong Liu to create performances that play with language, compose sound, devise theatre, and engage community partners to tell stories.

How do we hear those who are not with us? How do we speak to those who do not see us?

Shaw Pong and Obehi will explore the process of communicating personal stories as well as the history and experiences of our community. Final works incorporated theatre, spoken text, contemporary improvisation, live musical performance and digital sound works.
